Uniswap, the world’s largest decentralized crypto exchange, has launched a beta version of its wallet app for Android. This move comes after the successful launch of the app for iOS earlier this year. The Android beta app allows users to select coins on different chains without switching networks and automatically detects the network a coin is on. It currently supports Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and BNB Chain, with more chain compatibility planned for the future. The wallet also offers features such as routing Ethereum transactions through a private pool to avoid attacks and displaying built-in transfer fees for user awareness. Uniswap plans to release the app’s open-source code in the coming weeks and has opened a signup for an email waitlist for early adopters. Other decentralized exchanges, such as 1inch, have also launched mobile wallets.
