The teams behind decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols Wormhole, Swing, Tashi, and Evmos are collaborating to address liquidity issues in the Cosmos ecosystem. Wormhole plans to introduce five new bridged tokens, including USDT, USDC, wETH, wBTC, and SOL, on Evmos. Swing protocol will enable users to send these tokens to Evmos from various networks it supports. Tashi will integrate Swing into its user interface, allowing users to bridge and deposit the tokens as collateral for loans or other DeFi actions. The proposal is awaiting approval and is expected to go live soon. The integration aims to solve the liquidity crisis within the Cosmos ecosystem and attract more users. Swing plans to expand its compatibility to include bridges between different Cosmos networks in the future. The Cosmos community has been introducing new features to attract users, but faces competition from Optimism Superchain.
