Uniswap developer AzFlin has been fired by Uniswap Labs founder Hayden Adams for allegedly creating and rug pulling the FRENS token. AzFlin developed and deployed the token on Coinbase’s Base blockchain before selling the raised tokens shortly after. AzFlin argues that what they did doesn’t constitute a rug pull, claiming they used their own money from the dev wallet. However, Adams publicly confirmed the sacking and stated that such behavior is not supported or condoned by Uniswap Labs.
