The LiFi research team has launched a multi-message aggregator for decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance. This aggregator aims to prevent governance attacks originating from cross-chain bridges by requiring votes to be confirmed by multiple bridges. The aggregator can be configured to use different ratios of bridge confirmations, providing flexibility for DAOs. This solution comes after a debate on bridge security on the Uniswap forums, which concluded that no single bridge has all the necessary security features for secure governance. LiFi’s aggregator is not the only one available, as Gnosis has also released a similar protocol called “Hashi.” However, the LiFi aggregator has not yet been audited, but the team plans to submit it for an audit in the future.
