Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin’s demand to potentially increase by 10 times in the next year.

The co-founder of MicroStrategy, Michael Saylor, believes that the demand for Bitcoin will increase significantly after the halving event next year. He predicts that the demand for BTC could grow by as much as 10 times by the end of 2024. Saylor made these remarks during a speech at the 2023 Australia Crypto Convention. He also mentioned that Bitcoin will become a mainstream asset by the end of 2024, as supply and demand dynamics come into play. Saylor expects the price of Bitcoin to adjust upwards due to a decrease in supply and an increase in demand. He described the next 12 months for Bitcoin as its “coming out party” and predicted high growth for the asset from 2024 to 2028. Saylor also mentioned the competition among companies like Apple and Meta (Facebook) to acquire Bitcoin for future profits. He believes that Bitcoin will outperform any other high-quality asset in the long run, potentially reaching millions of dollars per coin. Currently, MicroStrategy holds around 158,400 BTC.
